Building a home involves a lot of decisions, but the process does not have to feel overwhelming.
At Adamski General Contracting, the goal is to keep the process straightforward and help clients move through each stage with a clear understanding of what comes next.
Every project is different, but most begin with the same basic steps.
Start With a Conversation
The process begins by learning more about what you are looking to build.
We’ll talk through your goals, the type of home or project you have in mind, your priorities, and any plans, ideas, or inspiration you already have.
This initial conversation helps establish the direction of the project and gives us a better understanding of what you want to accomplish.
Review the Plans and Project Details
Once the overall vision is established, the next step is working through the details.
Depending on the project, this may include reviewing floor plans, layouts, construction features, design ideas, and other elements that will shape the finished home.
This is where the project begins moving from an idea into a more defined plan.
Make Selections
The details are what make a house feel like home.
As the project moves forward, selections may include exterior materials, flooring, cabinetry, fixtures, finishes, colors, and other design elements.
The specific selections will vary by project, but the goal is to make thoughtful choices that work well together and support the overall vision for the home.
Prepare for Construction
Before construction begins, the plans and major project details need to be in place.
This stage brings together the information necessary to move into construction and helps make sure everyone is working from the same direction before work begins on site.
Build the Home
With the planning complete, construction gets underway.
The home begins taking shape step by step, from the major structural work through the interior finishes and final details.
Jonathan remains involved throughout the project, helping move the work forward and addressing the decisions that naturally come up during construction.
Final Details and Completion
As construction nears completion, attention turns to the finishing details.
The project is reviewed, remaining items are addressed, and the home is prepared for completion.
The result is a finished space designed around the plans, selections, and decisions made throughout the process.
